 “Om mani padme hum” is a popular Buddhist mantra (it is often regarded as the mantra of universal protection), and can be translated to “Hail the Jewel in the Lotus.” The mantra is an invocation mantra of the Bodhisattva of Infinite Compassion (Avalokitesvara), and is used by Avalokitesvara to protect people from harm.  The bodhisattva is known to appear wherever aid and blessings are needed.

The dimension of the Om Mani Padme Hum Blessing Plaque is approx. 8 7/8" x 5" x 0.5".  It can be either hanged or displayed on the table.  It is made of wood.
